I came back last Friday from a week holidaying in Italy and saw the news re FPA. Hurray!!! Am even in the plus and am looking at reducing my holding in order to create a more balanced portfolio.

I started buying in at NZ$1.70 and kept topping up all the way down. Ended up with 40% of my money in FPA and did some serious sweating. Also did some serious learning and am now not making this mistake with my MAH and SSM shares.

Am really wondering what's happening on the Oz market with FPA today. The shares at Oz$0.72.5 and the rights at Oz$0.35

I don't know if I am simplifying by adding them up and slapping 20% onto them (convert from Oz to NZ$). This would give me close to NZ$1.30

Am i missing something or are we in for another exciting time when the NZ share market opens tomorrow?

By the way: Rome and Florence are truly amazing. The history and art is mind blowing.
