Im in NZ and every landlord is either looking to raise rents to crazy amounts or ditch residential property. The sudden dumping of the tax deductibility of mortgage interest costs from 1 April for existing houses and 4yr phase in for existing rentals - has really chilled the market here atm. It may make locals look closer at Shares imho.
