Although the election did not go as well as I had hoped, neither did it go as badly as I had feared.
Notice that even though the left garnered the most support, they still came up way short of the 17 seat and 69% opposed to the mine, as shown in the latest poll Their total votes were 48%, which is neither a mandate nor even a popular vote victory. Any coalition they are able to cob together would be tenuous at best, IMO.
The public hearings, if allowed to continue, should give GML a chance to alleviate any fears caused by the ginned up catastrophe meme used to scare the populace. The left wants to squelch the PH, and for good reason.
The public hearings must be allowed to continue.
The ML will be approved: Greenland has too much to lose if it is not.
