Today was obviously a win for the side objecting the mine. But I wonder what's the game plan for those opposing the mine from here?
- Does anyone know on what legal grounds they will prolong, halt or terminate the process?
- Will they need to pass new legislation? e.g. to ban uranium mining
- Is the project so complex that you can certainly find something somewhere to cause trouble?
- Since the idea of a referendum on this project has been brought up... Can you actually hold a referendum on cancelling/permitting a single project?
- What are the consequences of these steps? Will any investment protection regulation kicking in on the Greenlandic, Danish or EU level?
- Is there anything that interested parties like GML, the EU, or the US could bring to the table to sweeten the deal and address points of concern?
