    @daveironore
    hi dave in further answer have a listen to Rick Rule of Sprott on *****. i dont think we are allowed to post links but it is on there
    Talking is a lot more effective than blogging and he spells out the link for 10 year treasuries and inflation and interest rates and the trigger for gold and silver in detail so he may be a lot clearer

    he also speaks of supply needs for oil uranium and copper. exactly what i have said for over 2 years now as his top picks for a commodity super cycle. exactly my picks 2 years ago
    he also gives estimates on timing and some confidence a commodity super cycle is on the way the same as 1976
    so it gives me confidence
    he does not break things down as a trader. i can see waves up and down. he speaks of shortages coming into play
    he names bhp and rio as his top few global picks for the likely commod shortages
    he also talks of investing in the biggest and the best for gains
    exactly my philosophy
    he even explains oil at $30 was a gift when everyone still needs oil and the cost is $60 a barrell which is where it now sits

    if we look at it objectively bhp ozl rio all hitting highs recently and Rule picks bhp and rio for a real rerate

    he said a lot more but i am going to stop posting for awhile. rule says it all and my little 2 bob is just inadequate and yes he also uses one of my favourite words - patience

    stocks and macros move when they are ready and if the timing is out it is my fault and the one weapon i do have for quality oversold stocks at their lows is patience
    interested to see what you make of his trigger points on interest rates and 10 year treasuries and the $US. he makes a lot more sense than i do at least in a blog. he also talks of IMF estimate for world growth of 6% this year - massive
    he also says precious metal bull run started 4 years ago. exactly when i was banging on about gold so i cant add anything further really other than let it all unfold from here. he picks silver to run after gold so plenty of clues on timing as well. he also adds there are very few decent silver plays worldwide. we seem to have none on the asx - none so far but as you said we will still see gains on them if silver runs.
    i agree
    cheers
