It took the world this long because the people who run the world are the ones with the money. Now that china is walking around the world giving anyone who does not kowtow to them an economic kicking those whose wallets are impacted by said 'kicking' are being forced to wake up.
The majority of china's confrontational global activities are for the economic rape of the 'outside world' and the domestic consumption of it's brainwashed citizens. You can only get away with that s*** for so long.
The current situation is that the rest of the world is coerced into feeling that it must 'work with china'. The exact reverse is how it should actually be.
