Good input thanks AFU Yes, certainly looking back exactly say six months (say 3rd December 2008) the end of the financial world was at hand DOOMSDAY had arrived and all hell was was suppose to break out. So the most obvious thing happened- the Chinese reneged. That was their way of saying they did not know what was going to happen all around the world Yet six months onwards at least doomsday came and went.Hell actually was just an almighty blast that cleaned up lots of fat, fat companies. Anyway the rules still really remained the same. China appears back on track to industrial and financial action again. So what are they probably at least going to do? Import raw materials once again like they have for the last 5 propsperous years. Assuming that things should be back on track for this rebirth then one would think we are at least back to where Xinmen Mining were again late last year - needing and buying the coal. Ddnt they then have a need and purpose for it or is China still in recession? Anyway agree with you entirely - these billion dollar things can take an extremely LONG time unfortunately and frustrated short term traders should expect nothing short of just knowing that at least Mr Bond is doing his darnest to tie up the deals at the BEST price and nothing else. Perhaps another announcement to this effect is now well and truly overdue? The Chinese did initially offer a fair and acceptable price - now that the economic signs are getting better what would be now slowing things BUT only if the CHINESE were looking elswhere- what chance of this - walking away from a coal deposit that in the long run probably will yeild in excess US10-20 billion dollars of coal?
