I agree, these guys are very good. Management are vital in any successful business. I’ve been investing since 1989 and I have made most of my money from companies with very good/excellent mangers. I’ve also lost the most money in companies with average/poor management.
one thing to be watch carefully for; management get ahead or full of themselves with success. We saw this with OXR; brilliant management took them from 7c to well over $4, they thought they were invincible. They then made the disastrous decision to buy Zinifex (zinc), as they had the $1b in free cash they needed. Disaster. Ended up 67c. They could easily have made a 1:4 or 5 at $3.50. Would have been heavily oversubscribed.
so always watch any big decisions, particularly if they seem a bit away from core business. Gold/copper great, zinc in crap imho.
