    Yeah the travel and tourism industries have taken a beating. Tourism can be supported somewhat by local tourism such as interstate tourism but if you’re a region like Bali or Queenstown that’s not enough. The airline industry even with their billion dollar bailout has some ways to go... the fall out from the COVID still has a long way to play out.
    the total distrust global govt have created by lying about their true number of cases means no one or very few countries believe the numbers being reported which means if you travel there you’re up for a quarantine.
    so any 1-2 week holidays that may have cost 3-5 k are totally out as there is another 3 k fee when they get back to oz with quarantine which will really bottle neck the flights. As mentioned we may see a big boom in interstate tourism as people flock to other states to have a break and avoid quarantine on their return. But that global travel just ain’t happening anytime soon. And that means webjet is running way over on its costs and loosing money hand over fist. There will be more cap raises and more bad reports
