This is a silly comment. The share price of any stock can go up in no time on a change in sentiment. The share price is hovering near multi-year lows, yet outstanding short positions has dropped by something like 40% over the last 3 months. They have been net 20m buyers over they last 3 months. Where would the share price be if short sellers weren't covering? They are probably helping to prop up the price with their buying.
Increase in demand for A2M's products to happen in a few months? Is this based on anything other than wishful thinking? For example, CBEC channel sales have dropped off a cliff because Chinese mothers aren't prepared to risk buying imported product as there is perceived risk that it may contain Covid. That isn't going to change anytime soon. Now with the Australian vaccine rollout halted, this isn't going to help. Also, mother's have obviously gone to other brands, hence the rise in local brands. Babies still need to be fed, they aren't going on a hunger strike. Are mothers simply going to switch back to another brand if the risk of Covid disappears later on? I think there is serious permanent damage.
