If you don't think this is the future of Australia - well you just keep waiting for those farcical French subs to save us, And the F-35's we bought for a joke on ourselves. We are totally dependent on a very comical USA. They worry more about their own citizens killing them - than any potential adversary. We need a massive nuclear capability with multiple delivery systems. And we need it yesterday. Nothing else will guarantee our survival as a nation. The test of our survival may come well within a decade. We need politicians and resolve to prevent it.
