Geez, you reckon that they didn't pay their lab invoice until the day after they concluded the deal? Can't get the receipt of assays until you pay your bills, and who is going to pay the bills to get the results you want to in order to confirm the DD, until after you've done the deal the DD is meant to de-risk. It's just logical!
And where was this material photo of the slabbed rock full of gold? Guess they were busy at the lapidiarists over the weekend on the diamond saw / cutting wheel.
I also note, that the sample locations are reported in lat/long whereas the drill holes have been reported in MGA, and neither is put on a map together. I would be surprised to see too many people capable of plotting this up. So, because I'm a caring and gentle soul, I have done so.
The rock chips are along the same horizon. You'll note the descriptions of the mineralised samples describe NE strikes, but it's NW? Either way, the only Au is associated with the drilled areas.
The ARK018 at Brians has been drilled twice. Now, due to the inaccuracies of GPS etc, and lack of any confirmed collar co-ords, it seems the two holes by the vendor would be far off the pit that the ARK018 rock chip was taken from. Note the grid in the image below is 50m, and neither hole tests below the pit (not visible) where the gold came from. So, not clear if there's a survey issue. Also, where's the data for holes AURC001 to AUSRC019?
To the SW there's certainly been a lot of pushing, pitting and working of alluvials and laterites which is visible in the airphotos. Generally not done for calisthenics. This seems, to me, to form a NE corridor of which Brians is one component, with Au and pitting localised on mafic/um contacts. Some lodes are worked on the NW strike. Guess it will be interesting to see where the first 19 RC holes by the vendor sit within the tenement package, and why they weren't sighted by the company and included in the last 2 releases, and why there's been no mapping of the samples. I guess too busy slabbing bits of VG on weekends after holding onto it for 3 months.
Caveat emptor.
