I'm a consumer of splitit with GemsNY.
I do get monthly emails updating on the balance outstanding and credit card re-authorization.
But I would prefer an app to see outstanding balance and having an option to change the credit card being used.
I think its added convenience plus marketing but comes at a cost.

So maybe at this point Brad doesn't see any value addition with the app.
Since they appear to be very cautious with where they spend the money (only big tick items).
