So based on your opinion the hedge contract will be assigned to a third party eventually. Sounds resonable, even though as you stated you are not an expert on US law.
If this does occur then it is not so bad for ngf as this decision may take some time. During this time no hedge payments need to be paid like the last 6 months. Media has speculated lehmans mess will take years to get through. NGF will ensure its in the courts as long as possible as well. The longer it goes on the better for ngf.
