Logic often has a real headbutt with 'normality' -- ie. established practice


we all wander about the place doing what we do - in what we recognise as a 'normal' environment -

when we see something as 'normal' - the vast bulk of the time - we don't question it -

we don't question it because we don't actually see it - even though it's in our face

we accept that a chair has 4 legs - why? - because it's a chair - we never think of it

we accept that stools sometimes have 3 legs - but, more often than not - 4 legs

do we ever wonder why some stools have 3 legs and do we ever realise that all stools had 3 legs once?? -------- if we did know that - would we ever wonder why?

do we ever wonder why blokes can go about shirtless - but, women cover their boobs?

do we ever wonder why boobs turn blokes on? --------- is it a biological primal driver - or is it a socially constructed idea?


It's our 'custom' to have different sex (which is really gender) dunnies --

why? -- why do we have that in public - but, in our homes - certainly before private bathrooms in bedrooms ------- the family dunny had a door and a morning queue for use ----------with no problems except for urgency and mess left by the last suspect who couldn't piss straight


most of these issues are socially constructed - and, a lot of these issues come from segregation rather than a mixing of genders and sexes - which, segregation promotes some kind of mystery and taboo issues


like I said about dogs --------- if you take a dog out to the park and the dog isn't socialised - you may end up with a LOT of bother on your hands - in comparison to the dog that goes to the park off leash every day

it's really as simple as that


people need to learn to live with each other - and learn the respect

one look at the early pictures of women and men in Iran tells a story in comparison to when the loonies took charge and segregated women from men

it's not a very complex concept
