LOL The govts own choices for the Board set the salaries for the Australia Post corporation. Are you trying to absolve Morrison and his Board in respect to this fiasco. You complain about the salary which the govts own Board appointees set. The govt doesn't give a stuff about the CEO's salary. I have a feeling that if it wasn't just a brain fade in Parliaments QT by Morrison, their may have been another agenda.

I am now suspicious that the govt may have intended to sell off Australia Post but Holgate had turned the business around which would make it difficult for the public to accept full privatisation. Just speculation on my part but why would they trash a successful CEO who it is acknowledged had not done anything unlawful? I just hope that the Senate Inquiry can get to the nut of what happened and if anyone involved has done anything improper or unlawful they face the consequences.
