IMO the share price is a red herring... focus on the business.
Fluence has lost the trust of the market ... and trust is something that will take time to regain.
The only way to do that is to deliver on the potential that has been promised.
The best evidence of this is an increasing flow of bulk sales, which we know the Three Gorges order is highly likely going to trigger.. but the follow up order from Three Gorges, another national SOE or a big order from another country will make further inroads to rebuilding trust.
For a while there may be a lacklustre share price response to what would seem a very significant win. Namely Ivory Coast and Three Gorges... and some investors will lose patience and sell out, because if announcements like these don’t turn the dial.. then what will?
However at some point, if Fluence keep delivering... and it could be the next bulk sale, or the one after that.. but at some point we are going to see the market catch up in a big way... bullish buying on no news and over enthusiastic responses to what would seem to be mediocre wins..
Investor sentiment is currently sceptical and risk adverse... but when sentiment changes, scepticism and risk will be replaced with optimism and FOMO.
