According to this http://www.hotcopper.com.au/asx_announcements.asp?id=60030, ex-rights trading date is 17th June 2009.
The rights should trade at roughly the same price as the amount by which existing RIO shares decline after proportional adjustment (21 to 40), i.e. should be zero sum game. All things held equal of course.
