Whether he is a shareholder or not, I do not think it really matters. All the reading that I have done that has been written by him, from my perspective, comes from a rational "what is the best outcome" pen. He is careful to play the ball and not the man, and does not easily let emotions rule his writing.
It is a good article and the Business Spectator web site is also quite good, IMO.
It could be an interesting week for OZL. It would be nice to keep all the assets and ride the commodity wave up again.
(Mind you a new CEO and Chairman would also help to restore investor confidence.)
