Yes, i agree Micheal's got a point. I think the MQG deal was a quick fix till the other investors finish their due diligence or may be the other investors are brokered through MQG and part of the options is MQG's commission or fee. It's difficult to say.
A lot of things happen behind closed door i have experienced some and yeh deals are not always what they appear to be.
All that matters is that investors come in debt is reduced and market sentiment towards GMG improves. At onle point in time debt was good now its just the opposite so lower debt = rising SP.
I was following MOC at one stage and could explain y the SP was heading north even though the future income seemed weak. The answer was no debt. Fund managers have a very conservative interest cover criteria now as well
