Hi CDT, I'm not talking about adding this to your your rego , that was just an example of a payment system which could be similarly rolled out for car road user tax. I disagree with your over or under 15k comment. If you are buying tolls in Melbourne, you buy what you need , this is just road tolls ramped up. At a pinch, you could even run a ''myki'' system with topups attached to a particular car registration[ ie buy at your local convenience store or servo ]. ''200 bucks worth of road tax and a packet of fags please''
