Yesterday India's daily cases crossed 260k. India is a country where 20% sleep hungry at night and people have to pay for COVID test and treatment. Therefore true figures will be atleast 10 times higher. With Kumbh festival going on upto 30 April 2021, It is expected that 20 million will have bath in river Ganga. Out of the samples taken 2% were found COVID positive. Indian member of parliament, inspite of being covid positive visited the festival. Real horrible figures will emerge sometimes in second week of May 2021. Thank god geographically we are far away from India. Imagine contaminated river water entering sea after travelling thousands of kms.
