Lithium & its derivatives do not have what it takes.

New tech is needed (& its coming)

Battery need 4 to 10 times the density & much much faster charge times.

Think about how much Co2 being produced just to place the charge points 9 wiring/ concrete, plastics/ bitumen), not to mentio the visual pollution created.

Need to do much much more with far less resources....it you are playing the long game for the planet.

And it you are in that court then you MUST support nuclear. Welcome to the team

Nuclear is nowhere near the horizon, a pointless hope that won't be developed before fossil fuels are phased out.

As for the distance limitations of batteries they will be improved but that is why hydrogen will be part of the future.
