I should have guessed the source! Every time David Errington of Merrill Lynch opens his mouth re WES, it's always the 'Night of the Long Knives!'
I have no idea why he's always so unbalanced and negative in his analysis, but it always sounds like the old story of the economists who have predicted 9 of the last 5 recessions! Or the quote from Mark Twain when he wanderered into the NY memorial service for him, and famously observed 'The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated...'
