Hem9 - the first part I agree with - however I have Rio $80 in reference to a BHP price of $38. (Maybe with my view I should short BHP and long Rio to arbitrage my perceived derisking value.)
To be honest I have not really thought about the spread of the Rights to the ords post the RI. I may be lazily leaving some significant rounding errors. I'm not sure if this answers your question. Let me know.
