This is not a merger of equals, but an overseas takeover of an important Australian lithium producer.
GXY shareholders don't even get much benefit - the market value looks the same, and we don't get much seat in the new company.
I'm not against it per se - that is capitalism - but I am saddened to see yet another offshoring, the sum of which contribute to Australia never realising its full potential.
