ok.. multinational conglomerate.. hadnt thought of that..
If it were me.. i would look at diversifying into synergistic businesses, perhaps start a drilling company and have our own drill rigs.. at least there is synergy of expertise.. and savings on drill costs.
I spent half my working life in hotel management.. it is a boom bust industry ... I worked in hoitels that were strong established 50 year+ venues that fell to the GFC. Regardless of the oportunity for cheap assets (broke hotels) you are confusing the investors in terms of what they are investing in.. so to that extent i wouldnt go with the idea.
