The seals of understanding will only be opened by the Prophet of a new religion and new Jesus like figure.
While several hundred Jehovah Witness were killed by the Nazi regime during WWII and others died while imprisoned, there is nothing significant here that stands out compared to other religions and ethnic groups.
So this could not in any way be referring to the Jehovah Witness who are flogging the same old beliefs and have little understanding of what the Bible means.
