Survey after survey show that Australians have strong views on coal (more than 80% want it phased out). But they don't have the same views on gas. It's hardly on their radar and you are hard pressed to even find a survey that contains views on gas.
Countless advertising campaigns that promote "clean" and "natural" gas have helped shape a very positive image.
Talking on the weekend, ScoMo kept to the messaging that gas and the environment go hand in hand. The Federal Government is saying that gas is a key part of the carbon neutral 'journey'.
