well, maybe ----------- but, I argue that if we hadn't had McCarty - then, Russia may well have not been in Afghanistan in the first place

it all boils back to 1945/6 when America decided to count Russia as an enemy - then, in 1950 when the great America decided to 'contain' china.

On the way through - they had many opportunities to make things better -

they even managed to completely cock up Khrushchev's visit to America

if America had stayed home post WW2 - the world would be a far less dirty place

they did do a good thing in the breaking of the siege of Berlin - on that - I agree

FFS Pinto - get on your bike and pedal to the closest library and find yourself some history books that go back before WW2
or better still have a bo peep at that wondeful manifesto of radical Islam called the Quran
