The names Covi-Pantel and Pharmapantel were concocted by NZ Trader a while ago to illustrate what a real world application may look like. They are not registered names. I expect that Monepantel would remain as the generic name even though it may have multiple indications apart from it's antihelminthic properties.

Once we achieve commercialisation, there is the possibility that a brand name will be assigned to the tablets to distinguish them as a commercial product. Zolvix is an example of a brand name for Monepantel. The Covid pills, the doggie pills, the MND pills and the cancer pills will each require different brand names. I'm not sure how brand names for pharmaceutical products are determined. No doubt there are protocols there as well.

Let's concentrate on getting the science done first, and worry about the brand name bridge when we come to it.
