Big Tex has been promoted to a new role focussing on working with sporting bodies to leverage Sky's capabilities in improving fan experience/engagement at live events.

Good move by Sky I think. Sporting codes across the country need all the help they can get in attracting the next generation of talent.
Onbiously, anything Sky can do to now to add value and deepen relationships won't hurt when it comes time to renegotiate rights.
Especially when the likes of Spark Sport have all but said they want to go after NRL in 2022 and Netball in 2024 to give their platform compelling content over the winter months (something they are seriously lacking at the moment).
