I think your forgetting they had traditionally bricklayers doing the outside skin, so they could tie the walls together brick the windows/doors in put columns in the cavity with flashing on, if they didn’t have the traditional bricklayers doing that would the house of met code? I think it’s a great achievement but u have to remember the hx only done the inside walls
