when I was having an arvo drink in the Aussies bar in Odon Thani - one of the Ozzies appeared - he'd been missing for months on a trip to Italy - he was there - a local and he was telling how good Italy was and how it loved it all - it was a great yarn - motor bikes, women, food - glorious food -
as he was telling everyone who - were hanging off every word quietly sipping their beers -- he was talking about how wonderful the fruit was - how BIG - HUGE - bigger than your hand the peaches were and similar
I was sitting there thinking quietly ------------- thinking - I doubt this guy knows why the pope excommunicated the Mafia lately because of the toxic dumping on farms
be proud of me - I never uttered a peep on the whole stay about it -
I just watched in fascination as he drove home not needing headlights because he glowed in the dark
