Glorious place! I drove from Piombino to Amalfi in a hire car(Fiat Punto). Italians are crazy drivers. I was on the Autostada inner lane at 170kph(fast as it would go) and Police came up behind me and bipped horn to move into middle lane because I was going too slow. 3 lanes - outside lane for heavy vehicles, middle lane for near speed limit(130kph) and inside lane for maniacs. I swear most on the inside lane were doing 200kph+.
I will drive there again but will never drive in Rome again!!..........that's at another level;.
