nothing wrong with trading short term, you just need to stay attentive.
Depending on its volatility, if you trade longer term, just need to have enough cash buffer to cushion the short term pains (paper loss)when it goes against you, especially if you trade CFDs.
What ever the time frame, we need to learn the skill to detect the trend when it turns. There is no perfect system; don't believe it if someone tells you there is one.
A bit of a worry that you don't have access to the internet when you are not in the office.
Just my thoughts.
