They have been drilling for a while with results due shortly in an area surrounded by gold mines and refiners. The lead up was managed by some of the best in the business at finding the shiny stuff with the latest tech and process, and the POG is starting to rise again.
The traders who were off chasing other things are potentially deciding to jump back in now as we are at the business end of the campaign. And because supply is tight, I don't think you need to be Tolga, Evan et al to push this up.
