I have no special knowledge of SelfWealth beyond what's publicly available but I understand platforms.
You're implying there's a risk because they outsource. I've seen first hand the dogs' breakfast of obsolete technology that passes for $100m+ of capitalised infrastructure elsewhere. It's expensive to maintain and in itself offers little competitive advantage.
As long as they have selected their partners wisely (and that's a big if), give me "Capital Light" any day of the week and twice on Sundays. A well designed cloud based platform on Amazon v $150+ of capitalised legacy trash in data centres. Pfffft.
