Guess it all depends on where you believe the gold price is heading. If it goes back over $2,000, then the deal looks more than reasonable. When the sale was originally mooted and the gold price was higher, talk was $1B for Tropicana.
As i see gold heading higher in the months to come, think that tge deal will be fine.
