Happy ANZAC Day folks! I've been puzzled why Golden Star could be had so cheap, and not wanting to let a potentially screaming investment leave me I DYOR-ed it. Duketon drilled it a few times during 2018, then did some recovery test (ASXKM - 06/03/2018) and reflected light microscopy. And I discovered what I suspected, the ore is refractory with gold contained in the pyrite crystals. This makes it really hard to extract without roasting. Pays your money, takes your choice, but there's too much risk of low recoveries in ore treatment. I'm a big fan of Wheeler Dealers, when Mike buys a Porsche 911 for $1,500 and it turns out Ed needs $20,000 spent on the engine and $5,000 on the exhaust. GLTAH for now.
