    I agree with you!!

    You have to (or not) have the belief that over the long(er) term (as per Glen Rufrano's comments from CNP/CER) that REIT's will return to their original purpose of paying out all their income.

    Everyone is in damage control because of this ridiculous GFC situation. There is also the C.A.R.E principal.

    Now if you are from a sales background C.A.R.E. stands for "Customers Are Really Everything.

    If you are not from a sales background C.A.R.E. stands for Cover A*se Retain Employment.

    Rest assured, though, as long as there is institutional interest, which there is and will continue to be, they will be watching this issue closely. Insitutions do not merely want to be (along with their clients) a conduit for ATO payments. BJT can do that all by itself by not distributing profits and just handing over 46.5% of taxable income.
