yes its a pretty normal pattern since futures started
1 you wait till the futures market is over extended on margin
2, Spread some FUD
3. Dump some coin
4. vaccum up at the new low price .
What I find amazing is people are still trying to use TA on an immature market with multiple inputs from
numerous exchanges
a strong OTC market
strong P to P market
