Just a general comment about PFS dates. The PFS is essentially a project with an expected timeframe of being delivered in Quarter 2 this year (i.e by end of June). There has been speculation about when the PFS will drop, with people hoping it is before the MGTOC options expire, however like with any projects, there is always the risk that a project is delivered late.

That being said, while it would be advantageous to MGT from a financial perspective to deliver it before May 31st, management only have one shot at this to deliver a successful PFS and it would not be prudent to rush the project just to chase the money. Therefore, based on what we know about the management team, and what they have previously said, I believe they will be methodically working through the PFS, working through all the various options, to identify the best way forward, in line with a PFS release by end of June (or sooner once all is complete). Their main priority will be to deliver a successful PFS, their next priority will be how to fund the DFS, however it would be great if all our stars align. I don't have insight into how the project is tracking, but perhaps internally they have a May 31st deadline that they are working towards with a 1 month period as a buffer in case things do get delayed. Only time will tell.

However, if you're a holder of MGTOC options, you need to be aware of the risks, and the very real fact that the PFS may drop after these options have expired. Hence, rather than hoping that the PFS will be delivered in the next 2 weeks or so, you need to weigh up your options (no pun intended). If you believe in MGT, then you can exercise the options and hold them (or sell the heads for a profit), sell your options in May or simply watch them disappear. But then again, if you decide to sell your options, the PFS could drop the day after and the price could rocket up, and if you wait to sell at the end of the month and the PFS still hasn't arrived, there may be many others also trying to dump their options for a quick sale. Ahh the joys of the sharemarket. What to do!
