The QLD Premier has received high praise for her handling of the Covid pandemic. Minister after minister fought for the chance to praise the Premier. She needs to be reminded just how well she is regarded by her ministers.

Queensland Labor has been building the foundations of its re-election campaign for months, with an emphasis on strong border controls, world-leading success in controlling COVID-19 and decisive leadership.

The leadership issue is critical: polling shows Labor's primary vote is floundering while Ms Palaszczuk's personal approval rating during the pandemic remains solid.

Hence minister after minister have been taking turns to sing their leader's praises.

Treasurer Cameron Dick's speech to Parliament early last week is a classic of the genre."There was one Queenslander who remained steadfast in her commitment to protect the state," he declared solemnly.

"There was one Queenslander who remained steadfast in safeguarding the health of Queenslanders so we could safely reopen our economy.

"There was one Queenslander who did not call 64 times for the borders to be opened earlier. That Queenslander was the Premier."

I don't know about other HC posters but the Qld Premier has given us a more peaceful and calm world through her inspired leadership. I think we are entering a time when the lion shall lie down with the lamb. Surely.
