Brad, the office work experience lad was given responsibility of delivering the permit application to the Colorado mines office on the other side of the state. - Painstakingly put together by numerous trained monkeys and they should be congratulated for their efforts. To be fair these monkeys can't analyse a calendar and mistook weeks for days - they also went on strike for better banana rations - which took so time to resolve.
The young lad has only an old bicycle - old Speedwell with 5 gears, and given the hilly terrain, his progress was slow. He has had to cross several swamps, encountered week long blizzards, hack his way through bear infested forests, plus negotiate the "culling fields" where it is open season on anyone using a greenie means of fossil fuel free transport (it is Colorado we have to remember). His short cut through UTAH was a complete disaster and he had to refuse several hundred marriage proposals from young Mormon lasses - he still writes to some of them.
All in all it has been tough going.
Apparently, he is making good progress though.
