Albert Einstein suggested that imagination was more
important than knowledge Dex..so ponderings are in the
same league.
This poem comes to mind every time cougar touches my
imagination button.
Eldorado.
Gaily Bedite,
a gallant knight,
in sunshine and in shadow
had journeyed long,
singing a song,
in search for Eldorado.
But he grew old -
this knight so bold -
and o'er his heart a shadow
fell as he found
no spot on the ground
that looked like Eldorado
And,as his strength
failed him at length,
he met a pilgrim shadow -
"shadow", said he,
"where can it be -
this land called Eldorado
"over the mountains
of the moon,
down the valley of the shadow
ride, boldly ride",
the shade replied -
"if you seek for...
Eldorado".
We will never know for sure if Edgar Allan Poe found
that fabled place..perhaps he found it "within".
However many of you know exactly where it is..
being spread over a wide area encompassing Kingaroy,
Wandoan and Victoria,.. that's just for starters.
Its easy to see the vision.
