Hi DaveR I don't agree.

It would have been too complicated and taken too long to work out who should or shouldn't have got it. Imo.

The big issue I have with it, was it was dished out with no strings attached.

Shareholders in those companies that made windfall profits, and executives that got fat bonuses, did so at the expense of all taxpayers.

The government was stupid in not requiring any money to be repaid before paying out divvies and bonuses. And Labor must be condemned because they voted for it without any amendments or oversight. So if it was Labor in government we know they would have done something similar.

They don't care about taxpayers. They just don't.
