This is INCORRECT . RMS calculated resource at Tampia on different block sizes to EXU ,much larger minimum mining width and unlike EXU WITH a topcut . Apart from these and other parameters changed RMS used a more conservative estimation technique at times involving inverse distance Kriging which EXU of course did not and as I understand should've , like the top cut and probably the min. mining width . Let's face it , EXU had a vested interest in talking it up !
The grade was comparable but slightly lower than EXU calculated and if haulage was the big reason you would've expected a higher grade than EXU .
Clearly , whichever calculation you favor , these differences were the reason for the reduced resource not haulage . Can see that RMS could well have been conservative in their estimate , as is their habit but there is a difference between THAT and deliberately understating .
