zahnpithers, 1 free trade is a slap in the face. They can do much better than that. Speak to someone higher or write a letter. Tell then in the letter that the compensation offered is not good enough and unless something better is offered, you will lodge an application with VCAT (or whoever is the equivilant in your state).
Otherwise ring the ombudsman
