Guys, have a long position (CFD) on RIO (on the LSE in the UK). I believe record date over here is COB tonight. I know the working of ex-rights, record dates etc in Australia, but terminology here in UK seems to be slightly different.
I think if I hold at close I may have a rights obligation.
Can anyone confirm? And can anyone suggest how the CFD provider will account for the adjustments, and what cost I may be up for?
Say I hold a 666 long position.
Most thanks.
